The Ketama Traditional Cooking Workshop invites you into a local kitchen to learn recipes passed down for generations. Guided by your host, you’ll prepare dishes that reflect the flavors and traditions of the Rif Mountains.

During this 3–4 hour workshop, you’ll work with seasonal ingredients from nearby farms. You might bake bread in a clay oven, prepare slow-cooked tagines, or make fresh salads with local herbs. Your host explains each step, sharing tips and stories that connect the food to Ketama’s culture.

As you cook, you’ll also discover the meaning behind local dining customs. You’ll learn why certain dishes are served on special occasions and how families gather around the table. The pace is relaxed, giving you time to ask questions and enjoy the process.

When the meal is ready, you’ll sit down with your host to enjoy what you’ve made. Moroccan mint tea and homemade cakes complete the experience, offering a sweet ending to a flavorful day.
