The Ketama Cannabis Trail tour is a full-day journey through the landmarks, flavors, and stories that shaped Morocco’s cannabis heritage. We created it in collaboration with the official US Cannabis Trail, ensuring both authenticity and quality from start to finish.
First, your guide will lead you to sites that celebrate Ketama’s cannabis legacy. Depending on the day and season, you might explore historic spots where early hashish production began. Then, you could visit the famous hotel in Issagen, once a meeting place for key figures in the cannabis trade. After that, you may stop at a legendary coffee shop in Ketama City — a lively hub for locals and travelers alike. Each location has a unique history and atmosphere, so you gain real insight into the evolution of the region’s most famous crop.
Throughout the day, your guide shares stories about each stop. As you listen, you’ll learn why each site matters, who worked there, and how it influenced the cannabis industry. Because these tales come directly from local knowledge, you’ll hear personal accounts, legends, and traditions that bring Ketama’s history to life.
The Cannabis Trail is also a journey of taste. At midday, you will enjoy lunch at a traditional farm, where seasonal ingredients highlight the flavors of the Rif Mountains. Later, you’ll pause for Moroccan mint tea and snacks at another farm, meeting the people who keep these customs alive. Finally, the day ends with dinner at the last stop — the perfect moment to reflect on the journey and the connections you’ve made.

1. Applicability
This policy applies to all bookings made through Visit Ketama, including accommodation, guided tours, workshops, and other activities.
Some hosts or providers may have their own cancellation rules; in those cases, both policies will apply.
2. Flexible Cancellation Terms
- Free cancellation – Cancel up to 7 days before your scheduled arrival or activity for a full refund.
- Partial refund – Cancel between 3 and 6 days before and receive a 50% refund.
- No refund – Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the booking start time are non-refundable.
3. No-Shows
If you do not arrive for your booking and have not contacted us in advance, the full booking amount will be charged.
4. Booking Changes
- You may request changes to your booking (dates, number of guests, or activity type) at least 72 hours before the start time.
- All changes are subject to availability and may result in a price adjustment.
5. Cancellations by Visit Ketama or Hosts
In rare cases such as severe weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances, we may cancel or reschedule your booking.
If this happens, you will be offered the choice of:
- Rescheduling at no extra cost
- Receiving a full refund
6. How to Cancel
- Send your cancellation request by replying to your booking confirmation email or contacting us at [your contact email].
- The cancellation date and time will be based on Moroccan local time (GMT+1).
7. Special Considerations for Rif Mountain Travel
Due to the remote location and preparation needed for some activities, certain high-demand or custom experiences may have stricter cancellation rules, which will be clearly stated during booking.
